This notice explains how Mananze handles personal information collected through this website, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Who is responsible
The responsible party is Mananze, based in South Africa. Registered entity name, registration number and Information Officer details: to be confirmed. Until they are published here, privacy requests can be made through the contact page.
Contact form
- What we collect: your name, email address, the topic you choose, optional company name and your message, with the version of the consent you gave.
- Why: only to read and reply to your message.
- Abuse protection: Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person is submitting the form (it can process technical details of your browser and connection; see the cookie policy). Your connection (IP) address is never stored as is: we keep a one-way, keyed hash of it and your browser's user-agent text for 30 days to stop abuse, then delete both.
- Security: what you submit is encrypted before it is stored in the database, with a key kept separately from it. A copy is emailed to the Mananze team mailbox so we can respond.
- Who processes it: Cloudflare (hosting and storage of the encrypted record) and Microsoft 365 (the email that tells our team a submission arrived). We do not sell personal information. Storage location of the database: to be confirmed.
- How long we keep it: 12 months after we receive it, then it is deleted automatically.
- If the form says it is not open yet, nothing you type is sent or stored.
Early Access applications
The Early Access form is an application only. Applying does not create an account and does not give access to Mananze OS or the Mananze Portal.
- What we collect: business name, contact name, business email, optional phone, country, industry, approximate number of employees, your main operational challenge, areas of interest, software categories you use, your optional product-updates choice, and the version of the consent you gave.
- Why: to assess whether and when your business could be invited to onboard, and to contact you about your application. Product updates only if you ticked that box.
- What we never ask for: payment, card or bank details, financial records, employee records, identity documents or passwords.
- Confirmation email: we try to send one email to the business email you gave, confirming your reference. It does not repeat your answers.
- How long we keep it: 24 months after we receive it, then it is deleted automatically. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
- Your rights: you may ask to access, correct or delete your application, or withdraw consent, by replying to the confirmation email or through the contact page, quoting your reference. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
Browsing this site
This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and does not show a cookie banner because none are needed. The security check on the contact and Early Access forms (Cloudflare Turnstile) loads only on those two pages. If we turn on privacy-friendly visit statistics, they will be aggregated and cookieless. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as request time and address) to run and secure the service. See the cookie policy.
Where data is processed
This website is hosted on a global content delivery network, so requests may be processed outside South Africa. Details of hosting locations: to be confirmed.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, or object to its processing, through the contact page. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
Mananze OS
Mananze OS is not yet commercially available, and this website does not collect any business data beyond what you choose to put in the forms above. How Mananze OS is designed to protect business information is described on the Security & Privacy page.
